Buongiono,

Consiglio marmitta per Vespa Primavera 1975 (cassetino grande)

motore 

-Malossi 132 MHR aluminio squish 1mm

-lamellare MRT al cilindro 28PHBH 

-27/69 BFA/FRT

-cluster 18-21

-accension Polini 1.2kgrs

-albero Tameni

 

Attualmente Dexter Classic Box 32mm = 😕 = troppo rumore / performance = 😕 = media

 

No troppo visibile ( Polizia....)

 

Nueva Polini original Banana (version Racing) ? é meglio que Dexter Classic Box 32 ? possible ?

 

VMC Siluro Touring (modification possible=cassetino grande = tampone ammortizzatore posteriore PX ???🧐)

Someone from Dexter tell me to buy the "classicbox on 32mm" for my Malossi 132 that is on 28mm.

Maybe my problem will come from the exhaust size ? no ?

The setup of your engine needs a "proper" exhaust...a classic box, even if with a large initial diameter, kills all the best that the engine could deliver, meaning the mid and high revs.

At least you need a vmc sport (if it fits) or the Polini Original you posted.

Other option is to re-think the entire engine and build something that can perform with more descrete exhausts ..

or the Polini

which one could be more easy to adapt or modify ?

i’m sure it’s possible to « twist » a little the exhaust down, and modify the fixations or made them by myself.

 

a Polini original Racing be more powerfull than the Dexter ClassicBox ?

Hi guy! Where are you from? Sorry for my English 😅

I don't know your exhaust but i see on Dexter stand on a exhibition..

So on my 132 malossi ( cast iron not mhr) i used a giannelli endurance with 32mm collector and the exhaust port was 28mm..

On my engine not work very well and when i plug a 28mm collector the engine work much better..

I think the same idea of @solovalvolafor rebuild an engine for use a discrete exhaust.. 

On the forum can found engine with 130dr on 53 stroke, long ratio and original exhaust with good speed and torque!

In theory you don't have any problems with this exhaust.. 

The Racing version is more powerful than the normal, almost the vmc siluro.. i read on a Deutsch forum if the vmc siluro on the old 125 primavera fit but the rear shock need a little spacer for extend it and fold a piece of metal of the "cassettino".. 

I hope polini exhaust is the better solution for preserved the frame of your vespa 😉

From my understanding, you just need to change the spacer that fixes the exhaust at the bottom of the cranckcase relative to the shock used. In the picture seems to fit also on frames with "cassettino", but if necessary, modifications are not so difficult. Though, must be properly done by cutting and re-welding and not by bending.

I have the SIP Evo carter.

the fixing are different 

my model is like the « PK »

do i need to order the Polini exhaust for the PK or for the Primavera ?

if the « body » of the exhaust is the same, and the only différence on the package are the fixations= it’s OK

 

but i don’t know if the shape of the body of the Polini from PK to Primavera are the same or not….

Pk I guess...the holes for the mounting are in slightly different positions in the 2 cranckases.

The body of the exhaust does not change much.
